My name is Renee and I'm a Freelance Photographer based in both Asheville, North Carolina and Clearwater, Florida area. My passion is preserving the memories in lives all around me. There is no greater joy than bringing other people joy and capturing a special moment in someone's life that will continue to live on. You never know what tomorrow brings. I believe where you invest your love is where you invest your life. My love is creating powerful, emotional images that are candid, pure and truly one of a kind. My life when I have the camera in my hand never feels like work. I love to travel!
My husband Jason and I are in love with the Asheville Mountains where we enjoy visiting throughout the year... We even got married at Point Lookout Vineyards in Hendersonville!! I'm a lover of wine and my husband is a lover of beer...and of course the French Broad Hot Liquid Chocolate Truffles....
You may ask: "How are you based in two places?" I grew up in Florida, born and raised. My entire life, I have lived 10 minutes from the ocean...although I'm not much of a sand between my toes kind of girl-I prefer wearing sneakers on the sand... I established my photography business in Florida and have partnered with Honeymoon Island Weddings and Sand Key Beach Weddings to photography many of their events throughout the year. On the flip side, I'm a mountain girl at heart. North Carolina is a place my family took my brother and I every year to vacation and every time we went to visit, I felt that I was at home. It has always been my dream to establish residency in North Carolina and that dream is finally happening in 2020 when we purchase our second home. I already have partnered with quite a few vendors in and around Asheville and very familiar with the area and look forward to building an amazing and creative portfolio. In the meantime, my husband and I will enjoy traveling back and forth to photograph amazing and creative weddings and also get to visit family and friends in both places!
I have also been commissioned by couples to travel throughout the US. I would consider that option if you are looking to save money. Ask me more details on that!
